교사 소개 : 네덜란드어를 잘하는 우리의 아이들. 하지만 우리의 아이들은 한국인입니다. “너는 어떤 나라에서 왔어?” 우리 아이들이 자라 어느 곳에 살든 내 나라에 대해 묻거든 자랑스럽게, 자신 있게 답할 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 우리말을 할 줄 아는 것을 넘어 내 나라말, 한글이 얼마나 우수하고 내 나라가 얼마나 깊은 역사와 전통을 자랑하는 나라인지, 내가 어떤 문화적 배경에서 자라 왔는지를 막힘없이 알릴 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다. 이 꿈을 가지고 한글학교 교사로 지원했습니다. 제가 이 사회에 조금이나마 기여할 수 있고 우리의 아이들과 나눌 것이 있다는 것이 기쁘네요. 

저는 사범대학을 졸업하고 중 · 고등학생을 가르칠 수 있는 교원 자격증을 가지고 있습니다. 중학교에서 1년간 담임교사로 일했고, 그 이후에는 독립기념관에서 역사교육프로그램을 만들어 어린이부터 성인까지, 내국인부터 재외동포 및 외국인을 교육하는 에듀케이터로 일했습니다. 저도 우리 아이들과 같이 배우며 같이 자라기를 꿈꾸며 온몸으로 한글을 그리고 한국을 경험해 보려고 합니다. 

Introduction: The Korean children who are living in Nederlands, can speak Dutch very well… But they are Koreans. “What does your country look like? I hope that they could introduce our country to their friends or aquaintances from other countries with pride, anyhow where they’ve grown up or where they live now. In addition, I wish they could not only speak Korean well but also let them know how creative, scientific and superior Hangul is and how long and great history and tradition we have, and that in what kind of cultural background they’ve been grown up, without any hesitation.

I applied for the teacher of Korean school with this vision. I’m really happy to be able to contribute a little to this society and to have something to share with the children. 

I studied at college of Education in university and I got the regular secondary teacher licenses. I have experience to teach secondary school students as a homeroom teacher for one year. After that I worked as an educator creating and implementing historical education programs for a variety of age groups in Independence Hall of Korea.

I’m willing to learn and grow together with these children and to dive into Hangul and Korea!
